On September 11, 2025, a meeting to report on the government's ASEAN work achievements, jointly organized by the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, the Office of Foreign Affairs, and the Bureau of Commerce, was held with great fanfare. The meeting aimed to comprehensively summarize the achievements and experiences of local businesses in foreign trade cooperation with ASEAN countries over the past year and to deeply discuss future development directions and strategies. At the meeting, government departments highly recognized the outstanding achievements made by local businesses in foreign trade over the past year. Over the past year, businesses have actively responded to the complex and volatile international economic landscape and boldly explored the ASEAN market, achieving significant breakthroughs in trade volume, product quality, and brand building, making significant contributions to the city's economic development and foreign exchanges and cooperation.
At the meeting, leaders from the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, the Office of Foreign Affairs, and the Bureau of Commerce each gave detailed reports on their respective work, providing an in-depth analysis of the current status and trends of trade cooperation between the city and ASEAN countries. The leaders emphasized that "going global and inviting in" is the core purpose of this initiative. Regarding the "going global" strategy, enterprises are encouraged to further expand into the ASEAN market, increase outbound investment, actively participate in international competition, and enhance their international operations. Regarding the "inviting in" strategy, the city will actively attract high-quality enterprises from ASEAN countries to invest and establish businesses, strengthen exchanges and cooperation in trade, investment, technology, culture, and other fields, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
At the same time, government departments also provided new guidance for the future development of enterprises. They emphasized that enterprises should seize the opportunities presented by the Belt and Road Initiative, deepen trade cooperation with ASEAN countries, optimize trade structures, and improve trade quality. Enterprises are encouraged to strengthen independent innovation, increase product added value, and enhance core competitiveness. Furthermore, government departments will further increase support for enterprises, improve relevant policies and service systems, and create a more favorable business environment for their development.
Our company representatives listened attentively to the government's report and guidance at the meeting, feeling deeply responsible and honored. Going forward, our company will take this briefing as an opportunity to actively respond to the government's call, firmly implement the "going global, inviting in" strategy, intensify efforts to explore the ASEAN market, continuously enhance our comprehensive strength and international competitiveness, and make greater contributions to trade cooperation between our city and ASEAN countries.
