Recently, my country's 20 millionth new energy vehicle rolled off the assembly line. The Ministry of Transport stated at today's press conference that according to the unified deployment of the State Council, since 2014, transportation deployment in various regions will be combined with the scale of new energy vehicle users and development needs. Add charging facilities in the highway service area. In August last year, the Ministry of Transport, together with the National Energy Administration, State Grid Corporation of China, and China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd., issued the "Action Plan for Accelerating the Construction of Charging Infrastructure Along Highways" to guide all regions to use expressways and qualified ordinary national and provincial trunk lines Focusing on highway service areas, we will accelerate the construction of charging infrastructure in accordance with the principles of "pile stations first, supply to promote demand, adapt to local conditions, advance by category, extensive coverage, moderately advanced, universal and open, intelligent and efficient".
As of the end of June this year, there were 5,931 expressway service areas across the country, accounting for 89.48% of the total number of expressway service areas (6,628). A total of 18,590 charging piles have been built, covering 29,000 small passenger car parking spaces, and about 27,000 parking spaces have been reserved for construction and installation conditions, which means that nearly 90% of the expressway service areas are covered with charging facilities. Among them, the coverage rate of expressway charging infrastructure in 17 provinces including Beijing, Hebei, and Liaoning exceeded 90%. There are already 5,128 expressway service areas across the country where charging parking spaces account for more than 10% of the total parking spaces for passenger cars, and the charging infrastructure network in expressway service areas is becoming more and more perfect. Judging from the operation guarantee of major holidays such as the Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, May Day, and Dragon Boat Festival this year, the charging queuing phenomenon in service areas in various regions has improved significantly, and no serious queuing phenomenon has occurred. The problem of "mileage anxiety" in electric vehicle travel has been effectively alleviated.
Guo Sheng, deputy director of the Highway Bureau of the Ministry of Transport, said that due to information asymmetry, the public cannot effectively know the charging infrastructure settings and real-time usage conditions, resulting in different charging facilities in different service areas, especially during major holidays. protrude. In this regard, the Ministry of Transport first strengthened the guarantee of charging. In April this year, the National Energy Administration and the Ministry of Transport issued a notice to deploy all regions to carry out travel and charging demand predictions, formulate holiday charging service guarantee plans, and release green travel charging strategies. Layout of mobile emergency charging equipment, timely release of traffic flow in the service area and charging queuing situation, etc., to effectively guarantee the charging service of new energy vehicles during holidays. The second is to strengthen the release of information. The Ministry of Transport has listed the "check" service of expressway charging infrastructure as a service that is closer to people's livelihood this year. It plans to provide real-time status inquiry services for charging infrastructure in expressway service areas to guide the public to choose charging reasonably. places, promote the full utilization of charging facilities, and further enhance the ability to guarantee expressway charging services.
Doing a good job in electric vehicle charging service is a systematic project, which needs to fully mobilize all forces to comprehensively strengthen the construction of charging infrastructure in various links and scenarios such as residential communities, enterprises and institutions, tourist attractions, and public parking lots. Form a reasonable layout, scientific and efficient charging infrastructure system to meet the charging service needs of the whole process of vehicle travel. In the next step, the Ministry of Transport will thoroughly implement the latest deployment requirements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on the construction of charging infrastructure, adhere to problem-oriented and goal-oriented, focus on charging facilities in expressway service areas, and follow the principle of "moderate advance" to further Optimize and improve the charging infrastructure network along the highway, and strive to form a charging infrastructure network with "fixed facilities as the main body, mobile facilities as the supplement, full coverage of important nodes, good operation and maintenance services, and guaranteed travel for the masses" to effectively meet the charging needs of electric vehicles. Serve the public to travel conveniently and help the high-quality development of the electric vehicle industry. (Tang Ying)
